MSBA would like to pass on an IMPORTANT OPPORTUNITY FOR ENTRPRENEURIAL TRAINING for your BUSINESS or BUSINESS CONCEPT.
Military Family Members/Spouses, thinking of starting a business? The Entrepreneurship Bootcamp for Veterans Families (EBV-F) is currently accepting applications. For this session, current military spouses with a desire to start their own business may also apply.
It is a three phase program: 30 days online, immediately followed by a 9 day residency on campus at either FSU (Florida State University) or SU (Syracuse Univeristy) and 12 months of technical assistance that you can access to aid you in your business. EVB-Families is zero cost program (includes transportation, hotel, food, books, etc.). This is made possible through a group of generous government grants, corporate and private donors. No GI Bill benefits required.
The qualifications are:
- Family caregivers of post-9/11 veterans, Specifically: spouse, parent, sibling, adult child, or other first-degree family member of a post-9/11 veteran
- The surviving spouse or adult child of a soldier, sailor, airman, coast guardsman, or Marine (active, guard, or reserves) who lost their life since 2001 as a consequence of their military service
- Spouses of active duty military currently serving
- Passionate about business ownership

Phase I for Florida State University will start on 1/8/13 and Phase II (in-residency) will be from 2/12 to 2/20/13.
Phase I for Syracuse University will start on 2/8/13 and Phase II (in-residency) will be from 3/8 to 3/15/13.
